Interventions
If your child has a barrier to learning that may be impacting their progress and attainment in school, then the class teacher in consultation with the SENDCO may decide to introduce an intervention to support this skill. All interventions are regularly reviewed to evaluate their impact and the adjustments made if they are not achieving the desired outcome.
If your child is accessing several interventions, then it may be decided in discussion with families, that SEND paperwork will be created. The paperwork will clearly detail the interventions they are accessing within school.
Below is our provision map for the year. This shows the interventions available in each year group. This is adjusted depending on the needs of the cohorts.
