Late Arrival 

Registration is at 8:45am.  If your child arrives after this time, please bring them to our main reception and inform office staff of the reason for the late arrival. 

Absence

If your child is unwell please telephone the school office inform staff of the absence and the reason. Please specify how your child is unwell e.g. sickness.  We ask that you telephone every day that your child is unable to attend and update us.

Leave of Absence

Headteachers, “may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances”.

There is, therefore, no entitlement to any leave of absence for a holiday during term time.  Schools are in session for 38 weeks per year, so there are opportunities to take children on holiday during the remaining 14 weeks.

Exceptional circumstances must be determined by individual headteachers and will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact the school office if you wish to discuss a request for a proposed leave of absence.
