Year 6 Summer Festival

Reminder - Year 6s are welcome to come in non-school uniform on Monday.

 

Pre-loved uniform sale

On Wednesday 17th July, we are holding a uniform sale on the lower school playground. We have lots of grey shorts, skirts and trousers, many are brand new! This is a great opportunity to get ready for September and grab yourself a bargain.  

 

Last day of term 

Friday 19th July is non-school uniform for everybody. Years 3 - 6 may bring in games to play if they wish, but no electronics. Please send your child to school with a named carrier bag to bring work home. 

 

School garden 

We would like to thank one of our parents, Mrs Klama, for making contact with Charles Dowding on our behalf. Mr Dowding is a leading English horticulturalist and author who has pioneered modern, no dig and organic soil management in the UK. Mr Dowding has kindly donated a 10ft x 15ft poly tunnel for our school garden. We are very grateful!

 

    

 

Fundraising

In August, Barnaby Meeson in year 3, Barn Owls, is undertaking a huge challenge in memory of his cousin Emily. Barnaby will be walking the Cumbria Way, 73 miles in 7 days for a very special charity, Tom’s Trust. Please click the link below if you would like to make a donation.
