If your child is accessing two or more interventions or receiving additional support to make progress, then they will be identified as SEN support.

If your child is receiving SEN support and is not making progress over a period of time or if they have multiple barriers to learning that significantly impact their everyday life in school, we may discuss applying for an EHCP. An EHCP can be applied for by parents or a SENDCO and the same information is submitted. Sometimes EHCP will be discussed ahead of a phased transfer to a new setting to ensure your child's needs are clearly understood.
