Summer Fayre
A big thank you to our PTA for organising yet another fantastic Summer Fayre! The children's performances were brilliant to watch, the Year 6 stalls were lots of fun, the food was yummy and it was great to see so many of you there. We raised over £3,500! Lots of hard work went into making it such a success and we thank you all for supporting the school.
Year 6 girls cricket success!
Last Friday, 16 of our Year 6 girls attended a Dynamo Cricket competition at Eaton Park, competing against other schools around Norwich. Our two teams were brilliant - with many wickets, catches, as well as some 4s and 6s hit!
The team spirit they showed towards one another and the other teams was exemplary, and despite many being new to Dynamo Cricket, it was fantastic to see their confidence grow as the day progressed. Thank you to Mrs Bidder and Miss Money for volunteering to take them. The teams finished 1st and 3rd out of 7 teams. Well done!
PTA Survey

Tuesday 18th June – Art / DT Day
Year groups will have access to Sky Arts Access all Arts resources, with inspiration from famous artworks, artists and illustrators. This year’s theme is landscapes, and the featured Artist and Illustrator is Oliver Jeffers.
We look forward to seeing what talented artists we have here at Mulbarton!

Children will be learning about the following countries:
Reception – Nigeria

Year 2 - Spain
Year 3 – Italy

There will be a variety of activities across the school with a focus on personal development and safety. These may include first aid, sun safety, water safety and the NSPCC PANTS rules.
Friday 21st June – Music Day
We shall be celebrating World Music Day as part of Creative Week. We’re going to create our own “Mulbartonbury” and would like to invite all children to come to school dressed in festival clothes or clothes that make them happy! Glitter and wellies will definitely be welcomed! The children will be learning about a range of artists and genres on this day as well as hearing live music from a local Ukulele band and being creative with song-writing and composing music.
