Spring term
This half-term we have had lots of fun learning about London. The children enjoyed a trip to Strangers Hall where we learnt about The Great Fire of London. They were fantastically well behaved. We also learnt about London Landmarks and capital cities of the UK. The children made their own landmarks using junk modelling.
We enjoyed Science Week with the theme ‘growth’. We looked at the life of a Gentoos penguin and made our nests using a variety of materials which we collected from the woodland area.
To end the topic, we looked at how bread is made and had fun making our own.
